A Far Infrared Sauna Can Change Your Life For The Better
You may have heard about some of the health benefits of the far infrared variety of sauna. These saunas are just right for home use, because they are easy to install, and they have never been more affordable. You can get a basic version, or there are more luxurious options out there, such as those which are designed for two people. In each instance, though, the technology being used in a far infrared sauna is ideal for improving your mood as you sit and luxuriate in the heat.

Some people swear by meditating in an infrared sauna. Even if you haven’t tried it before, if you find that there is a lot on your mind, you may wish to give this simple exercise a try.
First, get used to your sauna experiences. Figure out the right temperature for you, starting at a low setting and gradually working your way up. You should also start with a shorter session as well, perhaps 15 or 20 minutes. Within a few weeks, you can move up to 30-40 minutes per session.
Once you have figured out which temperature is perfect for you, and how long of a session you like, you’re ready for this next step. Sit in your far infrared sauna, and make sure that there is no one else around to distract you. Tell your housemates that you need some alone time, and try to set up the sauna in a place where there is little outside noise from traffic, barking dogs, etc. You could also put in earplugs if this is not possible.
Now, close your eyes, and focus on breathing in very slowly for a count of ten, and then slowly out for ten. Do this for a few times, until you feel your heart rate slowing. Try to be aware of every part of your body, and how you are feeling. Are you happy? Sad? Depressed? Eager? Distracted? Be conscious and in the moment.
Next, focus on anything negative in your life. That’s going to vary from person to person. It might be that you were passed up for a promotion at work. Perhaps you got in a fight with your significant other. You might think about your fears or insecurities.
Anything that makes you feel uncomfortable, upset, or ill at ease, think about it as you breathe in, and then dissipate it by breathing out. Try to visualize in your head that as you breathe in, you are sucking up all the negative thoughts and feelings that have accumulated over the past couple of days. As you’re breathing out, that negativity is leaving your body.
Continue to do this for several minutes, until you feel that you have centered yourself and that you are in a place of calm contentment. Then, you can end your far infrared sauna session.
If you do this multiple times a week, you will feel a miraculous transformation taking place. What seemed dire and pressing will not be that way anymore. This sort of self-healing is very much within your power to do. Meditation in a far infrared sauna can change your life.
